Truck Type Tractors General Safe Operation
TRUCK TYPE TRACTOR OPERATOR INSTRUCTIONS
- Are you competent to drive truck type tractor ?
- If you´re not familiarized with the model ensure you´ve read the manufacturer instructions before operating.
- In any case the machine must be used according to the manufacturer instructions.
- The maintenance must be performed according to the official manufacturer service (usually included in the manufacturer instructions).
- Keep your machine clean of grease and oil in particular access to it.
- Prior to start check undercarriage condition and inspect for leaks or physical damages.
- Use the means provided for access and use both hands for support.
- Adjust the seat belt and seat position, fire extinguishers, check oil levels, clean glasses and check the control board lights.
- Ensure you know the traffic plan of mine or installation and follow it.
- Work areas must be restricted, otherwise contact with your supervisor.
- Always ensure your work area is clear of other machinery or personnel.
- Due to the possibility of overturning in this kind of machines, these tractors must be fitted with Rollover Protection System.
- Truck tractor must be operated carefully in slopes, avoiding travelling sideways, in a manner that increase the likelihood of overturning.
- For moving keep the blade as low as possible.
- Keep the work areas clean of rocks or obstacles where trucks or machinery can be damaged.
- Prior to start the work in a new area or shift, inspect the area checking unstable areas, above all in disposals and stockpiles, and after rains.
- In disposals or stockpiles, do berms or barriers to prevent the access of haulage trucks to the unstable or hazardous areas.
- In case of congested work areas or narrow work areas (land fills or located fills), request to your Supervisor signalers or assistant personnel to lead the manoeuvres.
- In the work of clearing, before starting to clear in rugged areas of dense vegetation, inspect the area for potential risks like pits, cracks, etc.
- When possible work down the slope.
- Always park the machine in a flat and safe area, out of the work area of other machines.
- Always If you´re in doubt, contact with your Supervisor

Asses
how many components must be removed to facilitate replacing the damaged hose and determine.
Check if the hydraulic components
which must be removed are under pressure.
|
Oil Blowout discharged under pressure
Implement falls when pressure is relieved
|
·
Relieve
the pressure from these components before proceeding.
·
Make
sure any attachments which are supported by the hydraulic cylinder the hose
operates are lowered to the ground or blocked .
|
|
05
|
Remove
all clamps and attachments which will interfere with removing the hose.
Loosen
