Every
energy source must be considered as potential causes of hazards and therefore
must be object of close management.
Management
of Isolation process con be separated in several stages:
a)
Identification
of all primary energy sources of every piece of equipment.
b)
Notification to all parties that can be affected by the
isolation to ensure that no operational or safety problems will be created.
c)
Deactivate
energy source at the primary isolation point and isolate or secure secondary
energy sources.
d)
Apply
danger tags and locks.
e)
Test
for no Energy.
f)
Complete
the task.
g)
Review
the work; confirm the work has been carried out under isolation and the work
area has been left safe.
h)
Confirm
personnel working on the isolation piece of equipment is clear of the work
area.
i)
Remove
danger locks or tags.
j)
Advise
affected parties and restore energy.
k)
Confirm
the plant or equipment now is operating normally, if not place a tag in the
piece of equipment.
Gestión del proceso de Bloqueo y Aislamiento de Energía.
Cada Fuente de Energía debe ser considerada como una fuente
potencial de peligros y por lo tanto debe ser objeto gestión.
La gestión del proceso de aislamiento puede ser separado en
varias etapas:
a)
Identificación de todas las fuentes primarias de
energía de cada equipo.
b)
Notificación a todas las partes que se puedan
ver afectadas por el aislamiento con el fin de asegurar que no se crearán
problemas operacionales o de seguridad.
c)
Desactivar la fuente de energía primaria y
aislar o asegurar las secundarias.
d)
Colocar tarjetas y candados.
e)
Verificar el aislamiento. Por ejemplo intentando
arrancar el equipo.
f)
Completar la tarea.
g)
Revisar dicha tarea.
h)
Confirmar que todo el personal que haya
trabajado en la tarea se encuentra fuera del área.
i)
Quitar tarjetas y candados.
j)
Avisar a las partes afectadas y conectar de
nuevo las fuentes de energía.
k)
Confirmar que el equipo está trabajando
normalmente y si no es así colocar una tarjeta de aviso.
